Jungfrau summit, departing from Grindelwald

• This ticket includes a round-trip train ride from Grindelwald or Grindelwald Terminal to Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe).
• Travel time reference:
  • Grindelwald Terminal → 20-min cable car → Eigergletscher → 26-min train → Jungfraujoch
  • Grindelwald → 32-min train → Kleine Scheidegg → 45-min train → Jungfraujoch

• You may choose to depart from:

  Grindelwald (mountain train) or Grindelwald Terminal (Eiger Express cable car)

  Both routes connect to Kleine Scheidegg or Eigergletscher, where you transfer to the red Jungfrau cogwheel train.

  For those concerned about altitude sickness, we recommend taking the faster Eiger Express cable car on the return journey only.

• The Jungfrau cogwheel train passes through a 7,122-meter tunnel, stopping for 5 minutes at Eigerwand and Eismeer for scenic viewing before arriving at Jungfraujoch – the highest railway station in Europe.
• Important usage rules:
• Valid only on the following route once in each direction (no re-entry):
  Grindelwald or Grindelwald Terminal → Kleine Scheidegg or Eigergletscher → Jungfraujoch → return via same route
• Interlaken Ost is NOT included in this ticket.
• If you plan to board or disembark at stations not listed above, you must inform us during booking, or you may be charged extra on-site.
• This is a one-day, one-time-use ticket.

• Starting in 2025, from May 1 to August 31, seat reservations are mandatory to reach the Jungfraujoch summit. If you purchase this reservation, please make sure to indicate your travel route and planned time of stay at the summit.

【Applicable Routes】

• This ticket allows one round-trip on the following route within its validity period:
  Grindelwald (by mountain train) or Grindelwald Terminal (via Eiger Express cable car) → Kleine Scheidegg → Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe) → return via the same route.
• Valid for one-time travel only (no repeat travel).
• Stopovers are allowed, but re-boarding the same segment more than once is not permitted.
• Not valid for travel to or from Interlaken Ost.
• If you plan to board or get off at any station not listed above, please inform us when booking. Otherwise, additional charges may apply on-site.

  Ticket prices vary depending on your travel date, with two fare seasons:

    • Season 1 Fare: Sep 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025 & Sep 1 – Dec 13, 2025
    • Season 2 Fare: Jun 1 – Aug 31, 2025
  • 2026
    • Season 1 Price: December 14, 2025 – April 30, 2026; November 1 – December 12,

• Ticket Terms
  This is a single-use, same-day ticket – it must be used on the selected date.

• Discount Eligibility
  Eurail / Swiss Travel Pass (STP) Fare:
  Valid only for holders of a Eurail Pass or Swiss Travel Pass (STP).

  Eurail: No travel day will be deducted.

  STP: One travel day will be used.

  Swiss Half Fare Card Fare:
  Valid only for travelers holding the Swiss Half Fare Card.

• Child Travel Policy
  Free Infants:
  Children under 6 years old (on the travel day) travel free when accompanied by an adult with a valid Jungfrau ticket.
  It is recommended to carry a passport for age verification during inspection.
• Free Children (6–15 years old):
  Children aged 6 to under 16 travel free if:
• Accompanied by parents holding a Swiss Travel Pass (STP) or Swiss Half Fare Card,
• And a Swiss Family Card has been issued.
• Paid Child Tickets (6–15 years old):
  If no Swiss Family Card is available, two options are:
• Jungfrau Child Ticket: CHF 20
• Buy a Junior Card (CHF 30) at any SBB ticket counter upon arrival in Switzerland.
• Group & Accessibility Information
  Groups of 10 or more are eligible for group rates. Please contact your travel consultant.
• Travelers with Disabilities:
  If a wheelchair is required, the ticket is free with valid disability ID.
  Please inform your travel consultant of your travel time in advance so that local staff can make necessary arrangements.
  Note: Accompanying persons must purchase a regular ticket.
