Winter Hiking and Sledging Pass

• The winter season in the Jungfrau Region is not just about skiing — you can also explore its beauty on marked and groomed winter hiking trails, making it accessible for those without mountaineering experience.
• Additionally, sledging runs are available throughout the region, and rental equipment can be arranged locally, so you don’t need prior sledging experience.

With this pass, within its validity period you may enjoy unlimited return travel on the following routes (subject to official updates):

• Train: Interlaken Ost ↔ Grindelwald / Lauterbrunnen / Mürren
• Train: Grindelwald / Lauterbrunnen ↔ Kleine Scheidegg ↔ Eigergletscher
• Cableways / lifts: Grindelwald-Grund or Wengen ↔ Männlichen; Grindelwald ↔ First; Grindelwald Terminal ↔ Eigergletscher
• Bus: Grindelwald ↔ Bussalp *only valid for 2days+ pass holders.
• Suggestion for “Top of Europe” Visit: To reach Jungfraujoch’s top station, we recommend purchasing the pass including summit access. With a 3-day or longer Winter Hiking & Sledging Pass, you may purchase the Eigergletscher → Jungfraujoch segment for a reduced fare

• Sledging equipment rental: If you don’t bring your own sledge, numerous rental shops are available throughout the region (Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Mürren etc.). Link
• Please redeem your voucher at any station in the Jungfrau Region by 30 April 2026 (inclusive). Beyond that date the voucher becomes invalid.

Royal Walk link

• Duration 0:40 h

• The “Royal Walk” leads from the Männlichenbahn mountain station via the gravel path to the summit. Along the way, there is a whole kingdom to discover. At the entrance gate, the path through the future kingdom begins. Hikers will encounter a court painter, explore various treasures, and meet their court. Who the secret ruler of the region really is will be revealed at the end of the hike.

Winter walking trail Männlichen - Kleine Scheidegg

• On the high route from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg, one of the most popular hikes in the Jungfrau region in summer. The route is also walkable in winter – on the groomed winter hiking trail.

Winter hike First-Waldspitz-Bort

• Distance 8.7 km 
• Duration 3:00 h 
• Ascent 157 m Descent 759 m
• The path through the forest from Waldspitz to Bort is also fun with a sled or similar vehicle. You can take a break both at the Waldspitz restaurant and at the Berghaus Bort.

Big Pintenfritz  link

• Route: Faulhorn to Bussalp
• Length: 15km
• The start on the Faulhorn (2,680 metres above sea level) can only be reached on foot from First. The ascent is long, but the final descent to Bussalp is fantastic.
• Footpath from mountain station First to Faulhorn approx. 2.5 hours

Fox Run link

• Route: Wengernalp to Wengen
• Length: 4.5 km
• Start point: Wengernalp, accessible by train
• Experience needed: Some sledging experience is recommended due to the varied and sometimes challenging nature of the course. 

Jungfrau Eiger Run link

• Route: Eigergletscher - Grindelwald Grund
• Length: 13km
• Sometimes overlooking the Lauberhorn, sometimes with the imposing Eiger north face behind you, or romantic wooded passages followed by spectacular drops.
