Pontresina – Languard Chairlift
Diavolezza

Diavolezza
Also known as the Witch’s Peak or She-Devil’s Peak, Diavolezza stands at 2,978 meters above sea level.
Surrounded by towering peaks over 3,000 meters, Diavolezza offers a 360° panoramic view of the Engadin mountains and glaciers.
A 10-minute cable car ride brings you swiftly to the summit, where you’ll find a scenic restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
It’s one of the best spots to fully take in the high alpine beauty of the region.
Piz Corvatsch rises to an elevation of 3,303 meters.
From the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Biancograt ridge of Piz Bernina, one of the most iconic alpine ridgelines in the Alps.
At the top, there’s also the famous ORMA Whisky Distillery, a unique high-altitude whisky bar.
From the Murtèl mid-station, you can embark on one of the most scenic panoramic hiking trails, which leads to Furtschellas.
This area is home to the Six Lakes Hike—a paradise for hikers and nature lovers.
Furtschellas – The Six Lakes Hike (Water Trail / Wasserweg)
Furtschellas is the starting point for the famous Six Lakes Hike near St. Moritz.
Trail distance : ~6 km. Elevation gain/loss : 330 m ascent, 330 m descent
Hiking time: Approx. 3 hours (loop trail)
Starting point: Furtschellas Cable Car Station at 2,312 m elevation
The trail takes you through six stunning alpine lakes : Lejin Cristal, Lejin Magnetit, Lejin Malachit, Lejin Rhodonit, Lejin S-chaglia, Lejin Epidot.
This hike is family-friendly.
Start your journey from St. Moritz Dorf.
From St. Moritz Dorf to Chantarella (2,005 m), take the funicular railway.
From Chantarella to Corviglia (2,486 m), continue on the funicular.
From Corviglia to Piz Nair, take the cable car to the summit.
For hiking enthusiasts, put on a good pair of mountain boots and enjoy a scenic descent through the Suvretta Valley.
The trail is well-marked and easy to follow, and the area is rich in alpine flora, making it a great choice for nature lovers!
Day 3 Rhaetian Railway Vintage Train / Overnight in Davos

Did you know? Switzerland is known worldwide for its exceptional air quality and healthy climate. Research has shown that the clean mountain air in Davos is especially beneficial to human health.
From Davos, you can access five major peaks in the Davos Klosters Mountains (DKM) : Jakobshorn, Parsenn, Gotschna, Rinerhorn, and Madrisa.
If you stay at least one night in Davos, you’ll receive a Premium Card, which allows you to ride any one mountain lift round-trip for just CHF 10. Want to visit more peaks in a single day? For CHF 15, you can ride up to four peaks round-trip.
Youth under 18 enjoy half-price
Children under 6 ride for free
After arriving at Davos Platz station and dropping off your luggage, why not rent a bicycle and explore the scenic Lake Davos?
At the lake, you’ll find a beach area, SUP, kayaking, and a walking trail around the shoreline.
Davos Platz to Davos Dorf by bike: ~11 minutes (2.9 km)
By train: ~3 minutes
By bus: ~10 minutes
You can choose from e-bikes or traditional mountain/road bikes, giving you flexibility to adjust the difficulty. Use the electric assist for uphill climbs and switch it off on flatter sections for a standard ride.
From mid-May to October, this vintage train operates daily, and is included with your Swiss Travel Pass.
The historic 1920s train runs twice daily between Davos and Filisur. The 40-minute journey takes you through the dramatic Zügen Gorge and over the famous Wiesen Viaduct. Filisur is also home to the Landwasser Viaduct, one of the highlights of the Rhaetian Railway’s Albula Line, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The vintage coaches come in both 2nd class and 1st class:
2nd class: Wooden benches without cushions — just like in old photos
1st class: Classic compartment seating, reminiscent of the Harry Potter train vibe
Some carriages are over 100 years old, and there's even an open-air observation car.
The train is pulled by the legendary “Crocodile” locomotive (Ge 6/6 414/415).
Jakobshorn
From Davos Platz main station, take the Jakobshornbahn cable car to reach the summit of Jakobshorn.
We recommend the nearby Jatzhorn hiking trail (Route 52), which is only 1.2 km away.
This scenic ridge walk takes less than an hour one way, offering panoramic views along the entire route.
From Davos Platz main station, take the Parsennbahn funicular railway to reach the summit at Parsenn / Weissfluhjoch.
We recommend a short hike to Parsennsee (Lake Parsenn). From the Weissfluhjoch summit station, follow the trail downhill toward Parsennsee, and continue on to the Mittelstation Höhenweg (mid-station of the funicular railway).
The one-way hike takes about 1 hour and offers beautiful alpine scenery along the way.
100% Powered by Hydropower from Graubünden!
The Albula and Bernina lines — which make up one-third of the entire Rhaetian Railway (RhB) network — have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, making RhB a true guardian of cultural and natural heritage.
To preserve this designation for future generations, RhB continues to promote train travel as an eco-friendly mode of transportation, raising awareness among both travelers and locals about the value of this extraordinary asset.
