This itinerary does not include a Chinese-speaking tour leader. If you are booking as a group of 8 or more, we can try to arrange a Chinese-speaking leader for you, but the cost must be shared among the participants.
What to do if you feel too tired from riding a bike?
You can also ride at your own pace and do not need to keep up with the group. Daily cycling route maps are provided, so you can decide when to stop and where to go. However, please be mindful of the final boarding time and location each day, as the ship will depart for the next stop and you don’t want to miss it.
Every evening after dinner, the tour guide will brief everyone on the next day’s route, answer questions, and share tips on where to find a good rest spot or interesting places. Most cycling routes are classified as “easy”, as they are mostly flat. Of course, depending on the weather and wind conditions, some days may feel more challenging.
Is water provided during the daily itinerary?
Every morning, free water, tea, and coffee are available at breakfast. It is recommended to fill your water bottle so you can stay hydrated while cycling. Along the route, there are also cafés where you can purchase water.
Where to put your luggage?

What equipment should I bring?
We will provide you with a bicycle, a waterproof saddlebag (mounted on the bike for small items), and a water bottle. Except for the water bottle, all items must be returned at the end of each ride. Any damages will incur additional charges.
Whether you need to bring a helmet depends on your selected tour. Only for the “Danube 4-Country River Cruise & Cycling” tour must you bring your own helmet, or you can purchase one onboard for approximately €25 (children’s helmets must be brought by yourself). For other tours, helmets are already provided. You may also choose to purchase a Closca helmet from Flytour in Spain for €90 each.
What to do when it rains?
If you haven’t disembarked yet, you can decide whether to stay on the ship for the day. If you are already cycling, keep going and finish the ride! Returning along the route is usually not an option, as the ship may be waiting for you at the next city.
We recommend bringing a raincoat in advance; a separate jacket and pants style is best for cycling. Please note that raincoats are neither provided nor sold onboard.

You will be assigned a personal bicycle for the entire tour. Please treat it as your own property. Always lock your bike when leaving it unattended. You will be responsible for any serious damage or theft resulting from improper use.
