A point-to-point train ticket already includes both the fare and seat reservation.
Eurostar is a high-speed train service connecting the UK and continental Europe via the Channel Tunnel, offering fast, convenient, and eco-friendly travel.
Development of Eurostar
The blue-line Eurostar has, since its launch in 1994, been a symbol of high-speed rail connecting the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. Traveling through the Channel Tunnel directly to London, it has become the most iconic “blue train” in the minds of travelers. The red-line Thalys, also known as the “North-West train,” served as a key mobility hub in Western Europe, operating across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. With its distinctive red livery, it connected major cities such as Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Cologne. Since 2023, Thalys has officially been integrated into Eurostar under a unified brand. This merger not only expands the overall rail network but also provides travelers with a more seamless booking experience and consistent service quality.

Which to Choose : Eurostar or Eurail Pass?
It mainly depends on your itinerary and the cities you plan to visit.
We recommend purchasing a Eurostar ticket if your trip is simple, such as a round trip or one-way journey between London and Paris. During your stay in London and Paris, you will mainly use the metro for local sightseeing.
We recommend a Eurail Pass if you plan to visit nearby cities or want more flexibility. For example, from London you may travel to Windsor, Oxford, Cambridge, or York; from Paris, you may visit Versailles, Fontainebleau, or the Loire Valley castles. A Eurail Pass is also ideal if you prefer flexible travel without being tied to fixed train schedules, or if you plan multiple cross-border trips such as Belgium or the Netherlands in addition to the UK and France.
Family-Friendly Travel
Perfect for families with easy city-center access, stroller space, and family seating areas.
