JR All Kyushu Rail Pass (KRP)

This pass is valid for travel throughout the entire Kyushu region, including the prefectures of Fukuoka, Oita, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Saga, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima.

You may use this pass on:

• All JR Kyushu-operated local, rapid, and limited express trains
• The Kyushu Shinkansen (Hakata – Kagoshima-Chuo)
• The Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen (Takeo-Onsen – Nagasaki)
• Both reserved and non-reserved seats on all Kyushu Shinkansen services, including Mizuho, Sakura, Tsubame, and Kamome

Not valid for:

• The Sanyo Shinkansen segment between Kokura and Hakata
• Subways, buses, or railways operated by other companies or third parties
• Specific JR Kyushu services such as:
  • JR Kyushu buses
  • B&S Miyazaki Bus
  • Seven Stars in Kyushu (luxury cruise train)
  • Aru Ressha (Sweet Train)
  • KANPACHI/ICHIROKU sightseeing train

Hakata → Yufuin｜Sightseeing Train “Yufuin no Mori”
Approx. 2 hours 10 minutes / Requires an additional limited express seat reservation fee

Hakata → Nagasaki｜West Kyushu Shinkansen + Limited Express Huis Ten Bosch / “Futatsuboshi 4047”
Explore Nagasaki's historic cityscape, Huis Ten Bosch, and Mt. Inasa night view; the sightseeing train “Futatsuboshi 4047” operates on weekends only.

Kumamoto → Aso → Miyaji or Kurokawa Onsen｜Sightseeing Train “Aso Boy!”
A scenic route through Kyushu’s natural landscapes; “Aso Boy!” is a family-friendly train, ideal to pair with a Kurokawa Onsen stay on the same trip.

Miyazaki → Nango｜Sightseeing Train “Umisachi Yamasachi”
Enjoy stunning coastal views along the Nichinan Line with large scenic windows and interiors made of local wood. Fully covered by the rail pass with no extra seat reservation fee.

Kumamoto → Hitoyoshi → Yoshimatsu｜SL Hitoyoshi + Isaburo Shinpei
Operates from spring to autumn; this nostalgic mountain railway features remote stations and forest views—perfect for train enthusiasts and retro travel lovers.

Kagoshima-Chuo → Miyazaki｜Sightseeing Train “36 Plus 3 (36+3)”
One of Kyushu’s most luxurious trains, offering stylish interiors, local gourmet meal boxes, and exceptional onboard service; operates only on designated days.

1. Please book your tickets at a JR Kyushu “Midori no Madoguchi” (ticket office) or reserved seat ticket vending machine, for free within the following guidelines. All kyushu - Unlimited Reservation; Northern kyushu - Up to 6 times Reservations; Southern kyushu - Up to 6 times Reservations. Reserved seats booked in advance through JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS Online Booking are not included in the above-mentioned booking limit.
   • When reserving seats, it may be more convenient to fill out the seat reservation application form in advance.

   • The seats that can be reserved without additional charges are limited to “reserved seats.” If you use a Green Car seat, you will need to pay extra.
