Compartment Features & Amenities

• Bedding & Layout: Each compartment features 2 twin-sized bunk beds (75 × 200 cm), fitted with comfortable mattresses, duvets, and pillows.
• Washing Facilities: Includes a private washbasin, mirror, towels, soap, and complimentary bottled water. Shared restrooms are available in the carriage (no onboard showers).

• Boarding Time: 22:40 for departures from both ends. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early.
• Where to Check In:
  • From Oslo: Report to the train conductor at Carriage 5 to collect your key card.
  • From Bergen: Check-in is handled on the platform.

• Good Morning Announcement: A broadcast will wake passengers 15 minutes before arriving at the final stop (Oslo or Bergen). Please gather your luggage early to avoid a rush.

• This is a manual issuance process; any price difference will be settled — refunded or charged — before the ticket is issued.

Check-in starts at 22:40 for departures from both Oslo and Bergen.

Friendly Tip: We recommend arriving at the station 20 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to locate the platform and check-in area, ensuring a safe and smooth boarding experience.
 

Q : What is the latest check-out time for the sleeping compartment ?  Is there a wake-up service ? 

You may remain in your compartment until 06:45, and a wake-up call is provided.

Check-out Time: For both Oslo and Bergen arrivals, you can stay in your compartment until 06:45.

Wake-Up Call: A wake-up announcement is made over the public address system 15 minutes before reaching the final stop.

Note: If you are detraining before the final destination, you are responsible for setting your own alarm to ensure you are ready on time.
