- Since the villages in this region are not connected by train, we’ve arranged a comfortable one-day coach tour to help you explore the best of the Cotswolds.
- This in-depth tour includes lunch in the region and stops at several of its most iconic locations, including a riverside stroll in Burford, a visit to the picture-perfect village of Bibury, and exploration of the north Cotswolds.
- Stop 1: Burford (South Cotswolds)
Wander through charming shops and tea rooms, then continue to a village once described by William Morris—founder of the Arts and Crafts Movement—as “the prettiest village in the Cotswolds.” - Stop 2: Bibury
Enjoy a two-course lunch overlooking the River Coln at the historic Swan Hotel, a 17th-century inn offering an authentic taste of traditional English countryside dining. (If the Swan Hotel is unavailable, lunch will be served at another partner restaurant.) - Stop 3: Bourton-on-the-Water & Stow-on-the-Wold (North Cotswolds)
In the afternoon, we visit Bourton-on-the-Water, often called “Little Venice” for the River Windrush that runs through it. Relax by the river, read, or simply enjoy the peaceful setting.
Then head to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds, known for its antique shops and historic market square. - Throughout the day, your guide will share stories and local history in an engaging, easy-to-understand way. After exploring the most photogenic scenes in the region, we’ll return to London.
