Pass Coverage

Within the validity period of the train ticket, you can enjoy unlimited travel on trains operated jointly by UK train companies across the Southeast region. Please note that the ticket price does not include reservation fees, meals, or sleeper berths (for detailed route coverage, please refer to the ticket cover).

The boundary stations of the valid area are: Harwich, Kings Lynn, Huntingdon, Bedford, Long Buckby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester Foregate, Bedwyn, Salisbury, Bristol Temple Meads, and Weymouth.

Airport Connection

The BritRail South East Pass can be used on the following airport express trains; however, travel days will be deducted, and your rail pass must be activated before use:

  • Heathrow Express: connects London Heathrow Airport and London Paddington Station (15-minute journey, departs every 15 minutes)
  • Gatwick Express: connects London Gatwick Airport and London Victoria Station (30-minute journey, departs every 15 minutes)
  • Stansted Express: connects London Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street Station (42-minute journey, departs every 15–30 minutes)

How to Use

Open the “Order Successful” email, click the link to enter your details, and activate your pass. Once activated, you will see the e-ticket QR code for that day, which you can use to board the train.

Important: Once activated, the pass cannot be reversed or have its start date changed. Please confirm your intended travel date before activating.

Some trains do not offer first-class service; ticket prices for first class have been adjusted accordingly.

Terms of Use

Validity Options: 3, 4, or 8 travel days within 1 month.

Classes: Available in 1st Class or 2nd Class.

Adult Pass: Regular fare.

Youth Pass: For travelers aged 16 to 25 at the time of travel when the pass is activated.

Senior Pass: For travelers aged 60 and above.

Child Pass (Free): One individual Adult ticket may be paired with one free Child Pass. For example, a child who is at least 5 years old but under 16 on the date the pass becomes effective may travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult who has purchased an "Adult Pass" or a "Senior Pass" Personal information must be provided to issue the zero-value ticket, and a ticketing service fee must be paid.

Child Pass: If the free child allowance has already been used, additional children aged 5 to under 16 must purchase a regular child ticket at 50% of the adult fare.

Infants: Children under 5 years old who do not require a separate seat may travel free without a ticket.

Issuing Fee: No issuing fee when purchasing via Federal Vacation's official website. Manual issuance through a travel consultant incurs an additional service fee starting from EUR 10.
The BritRail London Plus Pass is valid on the following airport express routes (travel days will be counted from the pass):
• Heathrow Express – London Heathrow Airport ↔ London Paddington Station (15 min, every 15 min)
• Gatwick Express – London Gatwick Airport ↔ London Victoria Station (30 min, every 15 min)
• Stansted Express – London Stansted Airport ↔ London Liverpool Street Station (42 min, every 15–30 min)

Holders of a First Class Pass may access LNER First Class Lounges during the validity of the pass.
Lounges are available at the following stations: Berwick-upon-Tweed, Darlington, Doncaster, Leeds, London King’s Cross, Newcastle, Wakefield Westgate, and York.

This ticket is issued as an e-ticket. Before boarding your first train or using any additional benefits, please activate your pass online according to the instructions provided in your confirmation email.

UK residents, holders of a UK residence permit, or travelers who have resided in the United Kingdom for six months or more consecutively are not eligible to purchase or use a BritRail Pass.

Holders of a British National (Overseas) – BNO passport issued before 1997 may also purchase or use this pass, provided they do not hold a U.K. residence permit valid for six months or longer.

You must hold valid rail passes and entry visas for all countries your train passes through, even if you do not disembark in those countries.

Seat reservations are not included. Most high-speed, scenic, and night trains require advance reservations.Even for long-distance or popular trains that do not require them, seats may sell out during peak seasons or holidays.Advance seat reservations are strongly recommended. If you travel without one, please sit only in seats not marked “RESERVED.”

Passengers traveling on night trains with a sleeper must enter the next day's date (the arrival date) as the travel date on their pass. Failure to comply with this rule may result in fines and the requirement to pay the full ticket fare.

The pass is not valid on the following services: Eurostar, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), London Underground trains, buses, ferries, or private railways.

This rail pass must be activated within 11 months from the issue date. Once expired and unused, it cannot be refunded.

If your destination lies outside the valid area, you must purchase an extension ticket to cover the section beyond the valid zone before boarding.Failure to do so may result in a fine in addition to the fare difference.
Refunds are only available for completely unused and unactivated passes.
Refund requests must be submitted within 11 months from the date of issue and are subject to the following deductions:

Cancellation penalty: As stated on the ticket (15% if not specified)

Handling fee: TWD 400 per person

In the event of strikes, delays, service interruptions, or baggage loss/theft, neither BritRail nor its partner railways can be held responsible for any resulting loss.
If such situations occur, please follow the applicable refund or exchange policy and contact your travel consultant for assistance.

If you experience issues such as ticket disputes, strike disruptions, or staff unfamiliarity with the pass, please keep all original tickets, passes, and seat reservations for refund or compensation purposes. In the absence of the related documents, tickets cannot be refunded.
