Perched on a dramatic cliff at 1,638 meters, Mürren is a car-free, eco-friendly alpine village filled with traditional Swiss chalets, the gentle chiming of cowbells, and pure mountain air.
Its greatest highlight is its breathtaking location, directly facing the deep Lauterbrunnen Valley and the towering Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. Beyond being a transport hub for Schilthorn and Allmendhubel, Mürren's serene charm makes it the Jungfrau region's finest secret garden—perfect for an overnight stay, a peaceful stroll, or simply clearing your mind.

Just a 4-minute funicular ride from Mürren takes you to Allmendhubel, a relaxing alpine paradise with a fairytale charm.
With a nearly 300m climb (1,638m to 1,907m) covered in just 4 short minutes, this funicular is the perfect shortcut for seniors, children, or tired hikers looking to skip the uphill walk!
Home to Switzerland’s most beautiful "Flower Trail," this valley blooms with over 150 species of alpine wildflowers every summer. At the Flower Park, a giant, picture-perfect swing faces the iconic trio of peaks, inviting you to rediscover your inner child under the gaze of the snow-capped mountains. Whether you choose to enjoy the afternoon sun with a coffee on the panoramic restaurant's terrace or take a leisurely hike back down, this is the ultimate alpine sanctuary to relax your mind.
If you love excitement and adventure, Birg—Schilthorn’s most thrilling intermediate station—is an absolute must. Right outside the cable car station, the Skyline Walk awaits you. Extending over the cliff with a transparent glass floor, it offers the ultimate visual sensation of floating in mid-air.
For an even bigger challenge, step onto the Thrill Walk. This steel-structured pathway is pinned directly onto a sheer, vertical cliff, guiding you along the rock face to tackle a suspended rope net and glass-bottom panels. With every heartbeat-skipping step pushing your senses to the limit, this is the ultimate photo-and-adventure hotspot you cannot miss!

Stepping onto the 2,970-meter summit of Schilthorn, you will find yourself immersed in the classic movie world of secret agent James Bond. This peak served as the villain's lair in 007: On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and offers the ultimate vantage point to admire the grand, side-by-side alignment of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks.
Here, you can explore Spy World for fun interactive agent games, then step into Piz Gloria, the 360-degree revolving restaurant that rotates fully every 45 minutes. Order a signature Bond martini and enjoy a delicious meal while taking in panoramic views of over 200 alpine peaks without ever leaving your seat.
