Q : What should I wear? Will it be very cold at the summit?

It is windy and significantly colder at higher altitudes (usually 10–15°C lower than ground level). We recommend layering with a windproof jacket, long pants, and sturdy walking/hiking shoes.

Q : What if I don't have warm jackets or hiking boots?

No worries! Equipment rental services (windproof jackets, hiking boots, and trekking poles) are available at the 2,500m cable car station.

Q : Will the cable car operate in bad weather?

Operations depend on real-time weather conditions and safety standards. In cases of strong winds or extreme weather, operations may be suspended or limited to lower altitudes.

Q : Is this suitable for pregnant women, young children, or individuals with health conditions?

• 2,500m Cable Car: The cable car ride is smooth and family-friendly. However, as 2,500 meters is high altitude, individuals with severe cardiovascular conditions, acute altitude sickness, or pregnant women are advised to consult a doctor beforehand.
• Tour 3000 Summit Tour: Involves bumpy 4x4 off-road transport and light walking at 3,000 meters. It is not recommended for pregnant women, infants, individuals with heart conditions, high-altitude sickness, or mobility difficulties.

Q : What is NOT allowed to bring?

For safety and comfort, the following items are strictly prohibited:

• Large luggage / Oversized bags (There are no storage facilities for large luggage at the station)
• Drones (Flying drones is strictly forbidden in the volcano reserve airspace)
• Large pets (Assistance dogs exempted)
