Board the spacious aerial cable car and glide smoothly from the Grindelwald valley floor up to the Pfingstegg summit station at an altitude of 1,387 meters. Along the way, you’ll enjoy sweeping, panoramic views of the majestic Eiger north face and the lush green chalet-dotted valley below.

This stainless-steel speed track stretches over 700 meters with a thrilling 60-meter drop. 3. Fly-Line ( 3 Times )

Take a 5-7 minute bus ride from Grindelwald Train Station and get off at the "Grindelwald, Pfingsteggbahn" stop. The Pfingstegg cable car station is right next to it.

Toboggan Run

• Age Limit: Children under 4 years old are not allowed to ride.
• Baggage & Devices: Backpacks are permitted, but using smartphones, GoPro sticks, or any other devices while riding is strictly prohibited.
• Weather & Status: Closed on rainy days. If the status shows "In Preparation," it usually means the track is undergoing safety checks, cleaning, or is preparing to reopen as the weather improves.

Fly-Line

• Age Limit & Capacity: Children under 4 years old are not allowed to ride. This attraction is strictly for single riders only; tandem rides are not permitted.
• Size & Weight Limits: There is no maximum height limit, as long as you fit securely into the safety harness. The maximum weight limit is 125 kg.
• How it Works: Each rider sits individually in a suspended harness system attached to rollers, smoothly gliding through the canopy along a stainless-steel pipe track at speeds of 8 to 12 km/h. The structural design does not support two people riding together.
• Device Policy: You may use smartphones, GoPro sticks, or similar devices at your own risk. If any items are dropped or lost, we unfortunately cannot assist in searching for them.

Do the Fly-Line and Toboggan Run go all the way down to Grindelwald?

No. Both attractions start and end within the Pfingstegg station area and do not connect directly to Grindelwald. To head down to the valley, you can either take the cable car or hike down (approx. 1 hour).

How do I get to the Fly-Line after finishing the Toboggan Run?

It’s very simple! The Fly-Line is located right next to the mountain station and the start of the Toboggan Run. It is just an easy 3-minute walk away.

How do I get from the mountain station to the Fly-Line?

They are very close to each other. Once you exit the mountain station, it is only a short 2 to 3-minute walk to the Fly-Line.

How high off the ground is the Fly-Line?

The height varies by section. At times, you will glide intimately close to the trees; at other points, you will soar up to 12 meters (about 4 stories) above the ground, giving you a thrilling bird's-eye view of the forest!

How do I return to Grindelwald from the end of the Toboggan Run?

Don't worry, the Toboggan Run automatically brings you back to its starting point at Pfingstegg. From there, you have two options to return to Grindelwald: the easiest way is to take the cable car, or you can enjoy the scenery by hiking down via Trail No. 3 or 4 (approx. 1 hour).

Are there lockers available on-site?

Yes, free lockers are available right next to both the Toboggan Run and the Fly-Line facilities. Please note that there are NO lockers available inside the mountain or valley cable car stations.

Are there dining options at the summit?

Right next to the cable car station, our summit restaurant offers a great selection of delicious meals, snacks, and refreshing drinks. After wrapping up your adventures on the Fly-Line or Toboggan, you can immediately sit back, refuel, and enjoy the view—no heavy packing required!
