Glacier 3000

• Travelers can choose to reach the Glacier 3000 cable car base station at Col du Pillon either from Gstaad or from the charming mountain village of Les Diablerets. During the ride, you can enjoy panoramic views of 24 snow-capped peaks, including the Jungfrau, Matterhorn, Eiger, and Mont Blanc.
• The cable car ride from Col du Pillon to the summit station at Scex Rouge takes about 15 minutes (including one transfer), with departures every 20 minutes.

There is only one suspension bridge in the world that connects two mountain peaks — the Peak Walk by Tissot. Located at Glacier 3000, this unique bridge invites you to embark on an unforgettable alpine adventure.
The Peak Walk by Tissot links the lower summit, the View Point, with the main summit Scex Rouge, five meters higher. Spanning 107 meters in length and 80 centimeters in width, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps — including the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.

Accessible free of charge and open year-round, weather permitting.

The Fun Park at Glacier 3000 is located below the Ice Express chairlift and is accessible all year round — whether it’s summer or winter you can enjoy sledging on the snow and playing in the snow‑covered slope.

The Ice Express Chairlift carries visitors from the mid-mountain station up to the glacier, providing quick and scenic access to the Snow Fun Park and Glacier 3000 alpine areas. While riding, you can enjoy breathtaking alpine views of snowy peaks and valleys. Suitable for families, friends, snow fun enthusiasts, non-skiers.

A Peaceful Stroll Across the Ice !
 

From Col du Pillon, a scenic cable car ride brings you comfortably up to Glacier 3000. Your walk begins right at the Scex Rouge mountain station. For those who prefer a gentler start, the Ice Express chairlift provides an easy ride down to the glacier, where you can begin your snowy adventure.

The Glacier Walk takes about one hour each way and leads you across the dazzling ice to Restaurant Refuge l’Espace, located at the edge of the glacier near Quille du Diable. From its terrace, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama over the Derborence Valley and the Valais mountains. The restaurant’s refined dishes make this stop as delicious as it is scenic.

After a satisfying meal, those feeling refreshed can enjoy the return walk to Scex Rouge, soaking in the pristine mountain air once again.
