Tour Time
- From St. Gallen, take a train to Urnäsch (approx. 30 minutes), then transfer to a PostBus for about 25 minutes to reach the Schwägalp cable car base station, all while enjoying stunning scenic views. This route is fully covered by the Swiss Travel Pass and the Eurail Pass.
- Alternatively, from St. Gallen, take a train to Nesslau (approx. 1 hour), then transfer to a PostBus for about 25 minutes to arrive at the Schwägalp cable car base station, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. This route is also included in the Swiss Travel Pass and Eurail Pass.
Ticket information
- STS Discount Ticket:
This discounted fare is available only to holders of the Swiss Travel Pass (one day of travel validity will be used) or the Swiss Half Fare Card. - Adult Ticket:
Regular full fare applies. - Child Ticket:
Valid for children aged 6 to under 16. Alternatively, a CHF 30 Junior Card can be purchased at any SBB railway station ticket counter. - Infants:
Children under 6 years old who do not occupy a seat may travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Please note this in the remarks section when booking. - Group Rates:
