We will explore some of the most beautiful monuments and sights in Provence:

• L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue – a charming village known for its canals- Departing from Avignon, we’ll head to Roussillon, a red-hued hilltop village shaped by natural ochre cliffs. Both Gordes and Roussillon are officially recognized among Les Plus Beaux Villages de France – the most beautiful villages in France.
Gordes served as the inspiration for the book A Year in Provence and was one of the filming locations for the movie A Good Year. The village is a stunning sight with its 16th-century Renaissance château, terraced stone houses, red-toned architecture, and intricate dry-stone walls.
During your free time, you can walk the narrow cobblestone streets and see the traditional dry stones called lauze, typical of the Luberon region.
Roussillon, on the other hand, is famous for its striking red and yellow ochre cliffs and vibrant red houses. - The next stop is Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, where you can walk to the source cave of the Sorgue River. Lunch will be on your own, either in Gordes or Fontaine-de-Vaucluse.
After lunch, we visit the Pont du Gard ( entrance fees included, but not inside the museum ), a Roman aqueduct bridge built in the 1st century AD, now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. - We then continue to Les Baux-de-Provence, a medieval village dramatically set on a rocky hilltop. During your free time, stroll through this picturesque village, admire its charming old streets, visit Saint Vincent Church, and take in panoramic views from the village’s highest point.
In Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, we stop to view Roman ruins – a triumphal arch and a funerary monument – and visit the area where Van Gogh created many of his most famous masterpieces. - Provence Markets:
