Most rail passes today are issued as digital tickets, and you’ll usually receive them via email within a few minutes of placing your order — no physical delivery is required.

| Eurail Pass / Interrail Pass
These are fully digital. After purchase, you’ll receive a pass number via email, which you’ll then activate and use through the official Rail Planner app.

| Swiss Travel Pass
Also digital. You can either print it out or simply present it on your smartphone when traveling.

| BritRail Pass
Most BritRail passes are now electronic. After purchase, you’ll receive a personalized activation link — this is the version used by the vast majority of travelers.

The only exception is the Group Pass for 3–9 travelers, which is a paper ticket that must be physically shipped. As it is mailed from the UK, please allow at least two weeks for delivery if you plan to purchase this type of pass.
