It includes a wide range of travel perks — such as free museum entries, local public transport, discounts on mountain cable cars, boat cruises, and even ferries and hotels in some cases.

Tips & Key Differences
Swiss Travel Pass vs. Eurail Pass — What’s the difference in benefits?
One of the biggest differences is that Swiss Travel Pass includes full access to certain mountain routes in the Lake Lucerne region: Stanserhorn / Stoos / Rigi
These routes are fully free with the Swiss Travel Pass, but only partially discounted or not included with the Eurail Pass.
- Also, when using mountain discounts, be aware of whether the day counts toward your pass validity (especially for flexible passes).
! Helpful Reminders
Some benefits only apply on days your pass is activated. Some discounts may require a promo code or QR code obtained in advance.
It’s highly recommended to check benefits by country or city before your trip — it could save you a lot!
