The Eurail Pass is primarily designed for travel on international and intercity trains across Europe. It generally does not cover local public transportation such as metros, buses, or trams within cities.
However, there are some exceptions in certain countries and cities. For example:
| Germany: Some local S-Bahn (suburban trains) are included.
| United Kingdom: You can use the Elizabeth Line between Heathrow Airport and Central London.
! Tip: Before you travel, it’s best to check the latest coverage in the Rail Planner App: Go to More > Rail Network Guides > select a country to view the most up-to-date information.
