1. 【Italy】Frecciarossa Brand Evolution: New Logo, Livery, and Sustainable Fleet
Trenitalia recently unveiled its new brand identity at Milano Centrale station, with CEO Gianpiero Strisciuglio marking the start of a new era for Italian high-speed rail.

- Unified Brand Identity: To provide a more intuitive premium experience, the former Frecciargento and Frecciabianca services are being phased out. The entire fleet—including ETR 400, 500, 600, and 700 trainsets—will be unified under the single Frecciarossa (Red Arrow) brand.
- Visual & Sensory Rebranding:
- New Logo: A redesigned "F" tilted at 45 degrees, inspired by the shape of an arrow and the trains' aerodynamic profile.
- Certified Red: In collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute, the official "Rosso Frecciarossa" shade has been certified to strengthen brand identity.
- Sound Identity: A new "brand sound" inspired by Morse code will be introduced across stations and passenger touchpoints.

- €2 Billion Strategic Investment: * As part of a massive industrial plan, Trenitalia has allocated EUR 2 billion for 74 next-generation high-speed trains manufactured by Hitachi Rail, set to enter service by 2030.
- Designed by the legendary Giugiaro Design, these trains feature interiors focused on comfort and accessibility. They reach speeds of 300 km/h (approved up to 360 km/h) and are built to operate across seven European rail networks.
- Sustainability & Heritage: Carrying forward Italy's high-speed legacy that began with the ETR 200 in the 1930s, the new fleet boasts a 97.1% recyclability rate. Enhanced electric motors ensure significantly reduced energy consumption.
