Can I sync the Swiss Travel Pass to the SBB App?

There are two types of Swiss Travel Pass: Consecutive Days and Flex (non-consecutive) Days.
 

  • Consecutive Days: The pass file itself is the ticket. You can simply show it when needed—there’s no need to add it to the SBB App.
  • Flex Days: You need to activate each travel day via a special link. For every travel day, a QR code will be generated. This QR code can be saved to your mobile wallet (like Apple Wallet), but cannot be added to the SBB App.
     

Therefore, if you purchase your Swiss Travel Pass from GoByTrain, it does not need to and cannot be synced to the SBB App.

If you purchase directly from the SBB website or app, it may appear in the SBB App, as the way tickets are handled can vary depending on the platform.
